Homework
Homework will be posted on the board each day at the end of the lesson.
Homework assigned will be due at the beginning of the next class period, unless
otherwise directed. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the
assignment from me or from the bulletin board where it will be posted. If you
do not have your homework completed, you must fill out a homework excuse note
and pass it in when homework is collected. This will allow you to do the
assignment for a late grade. If you do not turn one in, you can not receive a
late grade. No work can be turned in after the chapter test has been taken.
Late Work Policy
I will only take work one day late. This does not mean the next class period
that we meet. It means the very next day that school meets. Points will be
deducted for being late. Remember some points are better than no points at all.
Make-up Work
Make up work will be accepted ONLY if you are EXCUSED. You are
responsible for getting your make-up work from me, a friend, or the make-up
folder. If you are absent on a test or quiz day, the test or quiz will be made
up the following class period we meet unless otherwise arranged by the teacher.
Hall Passes
Hall passes will only be issued if the student has an agenda book belonging to
them.
Tardy Policy
If you are tardy, you must go to the clipboard and sign in completely. If you
have a pass leave it or your agenda with the clipboard. DO NOT INTERRUPT
CLASS!!! I will check your pass by the end of the hour. Detentions will be
issued starting on the second excused tardy. Detentions must be served within
two school days- No Exceptions!
