District Report Cards
The District is in the process of implementing the Common Core Standards in Math and Language Arts. Students in grades 3-8 will continue to be tested on the ISAT tests in Math and English Language Arts until 2014-2015. At that time the state will transition from ISAT testing to the new PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) standards.
According to State Superintendent, Chris Koch, the 2012 School Report Cards will be the last of their kind. The state will move to a new, improved format with more comprehensive information. If the state receives a waiver it will be the last time the state reports on Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) under No Child Left Behind.
