As the school social worker, I meet with students on an individual basis ( and small groups pre-covid) to address social and emotional standards. Incorporating the tenets of human development, therapeutic intervention, systems theory and a strength perspective, school social workers provide a wide array of services to optimize students’ educational experiences.
