Parents/Guardians:

All 9th and 10th grade students will take the PSAT next week.  Testing will take place on the following dates:

9th Grade - Wednesday, April 10th

10th Grade - Thursday, April 11th

Students will test in the small gym, beginning at 7:50am.  Testing should conclude by around 11:15am, at which time students will be dismissed back to class to finish out the day.  Be sure your child arrives on time, because if testing has already begun when they arrive, they cannot be admitted.

Please have your child bring/do the following:

  • Laptop, fully charged (testing is fully digital this year)

  • Calculator, if they prefer to use their own (one is provided the laptop, as well)

  • Dress in layers, in case it is hot or cold in the gym

  • Eat a good breakfast

  • Get a good night's sleep

Please encourage your child to leave their phone at home, or it will need to be submitted during testing.  If they must bring it to the testing room, they are required to submit it, and it will be returned afterwards.  If your child has an Apple watch or another wearable device that makes noises, please have them leave it at home or submit it, as well.  Any unsubmitted device that makes a noise during testing can invalidate your child’s scores, as well as those around them.  This policy comes directly from the College Board testing company.
