Time to put your photo taking skills to the test! Science Club is holding a Framed Photo Contest ends on Wednesday, August 27. The purpose for this contest is to add much needed artwork to the indoor garden in the science building. Participants need to take pictures in the garden behind the science building. 3 winners will be awarded $25.00 VISA gift cards. For more details, see Ms. Hanneken

Our Zero Hero celebration will be today during lunch periods. Tropical Snow will be here to recognize our students who were Zero Heroes during the 4th quarter of last year. Zero Heroes have 0 tardy referrals, 0 hours of unexcused absences, and 0 discipline infractions / referrals.
If you are interested in participating in our RHS Fall Play, “A Monster Calls,” we will have an informational meeting in the auditorium on Tuesday, August 26th after school. You will receive all of the audition information at this meeting. We will also be discussing our trip to TheatreFest in January.
Fall play auditions will take place after school on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Will Stevens finished fifth in the small-school division of the Madison County Tournament at Belk Park on Thusday with a 78. Myles Bertoletti was 10th with an 83, and Connor Anderson shot an 89. Congratulations to all three on another fine round of golf.
