Science Club will meet today after school in Ms. Hanneken’s room to discuss the homecoming parade.
Ms. Hanneken would like to thank all students that participated in the photo contest. The pictures were amazing and will be added to the indoor garden space. The winners of the Photo Contest are Hayley Schlemer and Kylah Brown! Hayley’s “Sip of Summer” photo won the Best Plant category and Kylah’s “Sun’s Kiss” won the Best Animal category. Congratulations ladies! Please come to the office to receive your $25.00 VISA gift card and to take a photo with your photo.
Attention Juniors: We will be offering an opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 8th at 8am to any student who would like to take it. The cost is $13, and you can sign up and pay in the guidance office. For more information, please see Mrs. Garrison or Mrs. Hansen.
Are you interested in competing in eSports this year but missed the meeting last week? There will be another e-sports meeting today for those who want to play e-sports where you will compete against other schools in games like Super Smash Brothers, Fortnite and others. The meeting will be today after school in the Journalism classroom. That’s Room A203.
If you are interested in trying out for the high school dance team, they will will be having dance tryouts on Wednesday, September 3rd at 3:30 pm in the large gym. Anyone who is interested in joining the squad should attend.
Tomorrow is our first Connect Wednesday of the school year. We have a Focus Alert during 3rd period today for more details on Connect Wednesday which is for for Clubs, Teams, and Organizations to meet from 1:35-2:40pm. All students are required to be at school until 2:40. All students will be emailed a form prior to 3rd hour today for you to choose were you will go during Connect Wednesday. Please complete the form where you can choose your location during CONNECT Wednesday time.

Memberships for The Reef 2025–2026 are available now but the deadline is this Friday! Membership is $10 and includes entry to all home games for the year. Check your email for the sign-up link. Deadline is next Friday, September 5th.
Homecoming Guest Forms are now available in the Main Office. Forms need to be turned in to the Main Office by 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 17th. Guest Forms require a photo ID and the signature of the guest’s principal, so do not wait until the last couple of days. Again, Guest Forms for Homecoming are due September 17th.
