Good morning Shells! Today is Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
It’s time to start planning your outfits for next week. The spirit week themes are:
Monday - Dress As Your Favorite Color - wear your favorite color head to toe
Tuesday - Candidate Shirts and PJ Day. Wear the candidate’s shirt you are rooting for or show off your best lounge wear
Wednesday - Dress as Your Type Day. You have an ideal type of partner? Dress like them!!!
Thursday - BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom Day - Dress in your best stereotypical soccer mom or BBQ dad outfit!!
Friday - Class Color Day - Dress in your class color for Color Wars!
Remember, participation counts! These are all points towards winning the Spirit Stick

NHS has started their Toiletries drive through September 30. Those sample size toiletries that are sitting unopened on your shelf? Donate them. Heading to the Dollar Store? Think about picking something up to donate. Anything will help not only our schools but also the Roxana community and you could also be helping your advisory class get a pizza party! The advisory class with the most donations will earn a pizza party on our next Connect Wednesday. Check the flyers around the school for a list of items.
The ROX Gallery is a new space in our school dedicated to showcasing outstanding student work—art, poetry, writing, projects, and more. We want YOUR creativity on display!
If you’d like to submit work, talk to Ms. Robins, Ms. Schrewe, or check out one of the posters around school for more info.
Let’s fill the ROX Gallery with your talent!
Homecoming Guest Forms are now available in the Main Office. Forms need to be turned in to the Main Office by 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 17th.
