Roxana Girls Cross Country are County Champs! Congratulations to Coach Scamihorn, Coach Akal and the entire girls team. Four runners earned all-county honors: Gianna Stassi (1st-champion), Nova Shaw (3rd), Bailey Schallenberg-Decker (8th), & Elizabeth Clouse (9th).
The boys were county runner-ups with Anthony Hardin (3rd), Noah Crump (10th), & Easton Johnston (11th) earning all-county honors.
The first quarter of the school year ends this Friday. Make sure to get all assignments turned in and make up any work that you are missing. This Wednesday will be an RTI/Academic Support Wednesday and a great opportunity to complete any work that is missing and can still be completed. If you have a D or an F in any class, you are required to stay for academic support from 1:30-2:40 today. If you do not stay, you you will receive a referral to the office.
Tonight, the Reef student section will be attending the Varsity Soccer game against Staunton. The game is at home and will start at 4:30. The theme will be BLUE OUT. Wear your blue and come support our boys soccer team.
This is a reminder to the 29 juniors who have been spoken to that qualify for the Riverbend East Rotary Scholarship that applications are due this Thursday, October 9th to the Guidance Office. See Mrs. Garrison or Mrs. Hansen if you have questions or need another copy.
Seniors, it’s that time of the year to fill out your senior section of the yearbook! You should have received the Senior Section Google Form in your email this morning. Please let Mrs. Schrewe know if you have any questions. Senior Forms are due December 12th! Even if you don’t have your senior picture taken, please fill out the form now and then upload your picture later.
There will be no school on Friday or Monday of next week.
