Good morning Shells! Today is Friday, January 16, 2026.  

 

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.

Seniors, Make sure you fill out the Clash of Grads Survey Form. Voting will go out Tuesday and only those who filled out the survey with a “yes” will be listed. The survey will close today at 3:00. The form was sent to you again this morning. 

This is the last push to recycle old sneakers.  Currently RHS has recycled 54 pairs of shoes.  The school that recycles the most shoes in Madison County will win an ice cream party!  Shoes can be recycled outside Ms. Hanneken’s room. (Read all week)

If you have not picked up your Saturday Scholars t-shirt from Ms. Hanneken, please do so today.

Congratulations to Lyndon Thies on his historic 164th win last night that set the all time career wins record. 

From Coach Milazzo: " I would like to give a shout out to all of you who attended last night, especially the senior boys who helped cheer on Lyndon, Mason and all of the others. You guys know who you are. I appreciate all of you!

Official track practice begins on Tuesday, January 20th, at 3:00. You should register online, join the REMIND group, and have a current physical on file before the 20th.

Athletes who are currently in a winter sport, but will be competing in the outdoor season of track will not begin practice until their winter season has ended. However, you should email Coach Akal and let her know you are planning on doing track. 

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:
