Students, start planning your outfit for Valentine’s Day on Friday. If yu are dressed for Valentine’s day, you can put your name in a drawing at lunch. You could win a $25.00 gift card, but you will receive a candy bracelet just for participating. Also, student council is selling color coded ring pop candy grams during lunch today. This is the last day for you to purchase your candy gram. Candy grams will be delivered on Friday.
Any student who drives to school needs to have a parking pass and you need to be parking in your assigned spot. Just because it is cold, does not mean you can park in a different space. If you need a parking pass, please see Mr. Miller.
Best Buddies will have a bowling event for all students, staff, and their families on Sunday, February 15th, at Airport Bowl in Bethalto from 2:00-4:00pm. The cost is $12 per persona and includes shoe rental and two hours of bowling.
Lewis & Clark Community College Early Bird Registration will be Wednesday, Mar 4, 2026 from 9am-1pm
This field trip is for current seniors who plan to attend Lewis and Clark Community College in the Fall. Students will need a signed permission slip to attend this field trip. We will meet in the Commons at 8:25am. Students who are in our Co-op program may follow the bus separately so that they can leave for work afterwards. Parents/guardians are welcome to meet you at the college. fPlease stop by the Guidance office to sign up. Field trip permission slip forms are located in the main HS office. If you have any questions, please contact your guidance counselor.
Today is an Academic RtI Advisory schedule. If you have a D or an F in any class, you are required to stay for academic support today from 1:30-2:40pm. We have a very large list today, so all students need to check in with your Advisory teacher before leaving school today to determine if you have the grades to leave early. If you are required to stay for Advisory but do not stay you will receive consequences that could eliminate any chance for final exam exemption.
Any girl interested in playing soccer this spring the season starts March 2. If you are interested please reach out to Coach Yates. You will need to have an active physical on file and register on the athletic websites.
