Are you dressed up for valentine’s day? Don’t forget to enter your name in the raffle at lunch for a chance to win a 25 dollar gift card. Even if you don’t win though, you will get a candy bracelet.

Best Buddies will have a bowling event for all students, staff, and their families on Sunday, February 15th, at Airport Bowl in Bethalto from 2:00-4:00pm. The cost is $12 per persona and includes shoe rental and two hours of bowling.

Lewis & Clark Community College Early Bird Registration will be Wednesday, Mar 4, 2026 from 9am-1pm 

This field trip is for current seniors who plan to attend Lewis and Clark Community College in the Fall. Students will need a signed permission slip to attend this field trip. We will meet in the Commons at 8:25am. Students who are in our Co-op program may follow the bus separately so that they can leave for work afterwards. Parents/guardians are welcome to meet you at the college. fPlease stop by the Guidance office to sign up. Field trip permission slip forms are located in the main HS office. If you have any questions, please contact your guidance counselor.

The girls basketball team will play in the Regional Tournament on Monday, February 16th at 7:30 pm against Marquette.  Admission is set by the IHSA for $8 per person.  REEF members will be let in for free but MUST present their card to the ticket taker. Great win by our girls team last night in Columbia. 

If you see Allie Keller today, wish her good luck bowling this weekend. Allie finished 6th in the girls regional advancing to the sectional this Saturday!

Good luck to our wrestlers competing in the IHSA Sectional this weekend with a trip to state on the line.

Tonight is Sr. Night for boys basketball, dance, and our band. The Sr. Night activities will be around 7:00pm. The REEF theme for the boys game tonight is WHITE OUT

Any girl interested in playing soccer this spring the season starts March 2.  If you are interested please reach out to Coach Yates.  You will need to have an active physical on file and register on the athletic websites.  

Saturday Scholars will depart from the front of the high school at 12:50 for EHS on Saturday.  Please wear your t-shirts.

Congratulations to JV Scholastic Bowl for winning 2 or 3 matches last night. High score was from Ethan Branch with 10 Toss Ups. Good Job to all! 

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:
