Attention, Juniors! The ACT is coming up on Thursday, April 23. The Math and English Departments are offering six FREE ACT Prep sessions during RTI Advisories starting this Wednesday! Each session will cover a different test or topic. Each time you attend, you will be entered into a drawing for one of 10 $20 gift cards. Come to one, some, or all! No need to sign up – just show up! This week’s session will be in Mrs. Turley’s room covering the Reading test. See Mrs.Turley or Mr. Netemeyer if you have any questions.
Congratulations to the band and choir students who participated in the IHSA State Solo and Ensemble Contest at Alton HS on Saturday.
The Roxana Choir and Band Students won 74 "Superior" Medals and 22 "Excellent" medals at the contest!
March Mammal Madness is back! Any students who are not in Mr. Scamihorn or Mrs. Fleming's classes who want to participate can grab a packet outside of Mr. Scamihorn's classroom with all of the information. Brackets must be turned into Mr. Scamihorn by the end of the day on March 9th.
This message is for students who drive and park at RHS. Be sure that you are parking in your assigned space and not in visitor or district parking.
Best Buddies is sponsoring Inclusion Week March 16th - 20th. Each day has a different theme:
Monday, 3/16: Twin Day
Tuesday, 3/17: Green Our (wear green)
Wednesday, 3/18: White Out (wear white, which is the color of inclusion)
Thursday, 3/19: Inspiration Day (dress like someone who inspires you)
Friday, 3/20: Wear purple or your Best Buddies shirt
