Good morning Shells! Today is Friday, April 17, 2026.

Prom guest forms are now available in the high school office.  Deadline for turn in is Wednesday, April 22nd at 3 p.m. These forms do require the signature of the guest and their school principal so do not wait until the last day to get your guest form turned in.

Prom Tickets on are sale! We will sell until Thursday April 30th and tickets are $30 each.

There will be a QR code for digital purchases or you can pay with cash or checks written to Roxana High School. You can purchased in Ms. Crank's room before or after school. 

Zero Hero tickets will be distributed today during 3rd period

Seniors, in your inbox this morning is a Google Form for a Senior Interview Experience called “Closing Time.” This is a recorded video between Mr. Miller and yourself at a school location of your choice. Any senior who would like to participate needs to fill out the Google Form by next Wednesday, April 22nd. 

Seniors, next Tuesday (4/21) is the group senior picture on the football field. Please wear your red, senior shirt! You will be dismissed from the senior assembly for the photo. 

Ms. Hanneken’s Biology II field trip to the landfill is canceled for today due to an EPA inspection.

(Read until 4/23) Juniors: Next week you will be taking the PreACT or ACT test. Any student who scores a “meeting” or “exceeding” mark on their test will be invited to our first annual ACT Celebration Day at the beginning of next year. Students who earn this invitation will get to enjoy a day of fun, games, and food instead of attending classes!

We will recognize our Shells of the Month at 1:30 p.m. on Friday with Midwest Members. 

Yesterday was a big night for our students. Both our boys and girls track teams won the EAWR relays. The boys 4x4 team of: Jamir Cornell, Peyton Pride, Will Stevens, and Chrishawn Sewell broke the school record with a time of 3:31.67. Congratulations on a great week to our track programs. 

Varsity baseball had a big, come-from-behind walk-off hit by Max Autery to defeat Columbia. 

We recognized our Silver Medallion students last night at the Silver Medallion Banquet at LCCC. Congratulations to our top 8% of graduating seniors. Special shout out to Daisy Daughtery for being named the female Scholar Athlete of the Year among 18 schools last night and to Troy Rahn for being named Male Musician of the Year at Silver Medallion. 

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:
