Graduation Ceremony Procedures:
When you arrive at the small gym, you will receive final instructions to line up alphabetically by section and row.
The staff will pass out cords and items that were not received at the Graduation Practice, etc.
You will be lined up alphabetically and escorted into the hallway where we will proceed to the field.
Students with last names A - M will be lined up on one side of the gym; students with last names N - Z will be lined up on the other side of the gym.
Each graduate will have two professional graduation pictures taken, 1) as they receive their diploma, and 2) in the gym before the processional (1:00-1:45).
Once you enter the track, walk in unison next to the other student from the corresponding line
A-M (lane 7) and N-Z (lane 8).
When in doubt, follow the direction of the Junior Marshals or those presiding over the ceremony.
Once the ceremony is over, follow the recessional and report back to the small gym. You will be provided with your actual diploma and program. You will need to turn in cords and other items (if applicable) which were handed out earlier. Students will sign acknowledging they received their items.
