We will be offering an opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 21st at 8am to any student who would like to take it. The cost is $18, and you can sign up and pay in the guidance office. The deadline to sign up and pay is Friday, September 4th. Checks can be made out to Roxana High School.
New school year means new shoes. So what do you do with your old shoes? Recycle them! Help save our landfills by recycling your old sneakers outside Ms. Hanneken’s room.
Tennis: Congratulations to the girls tennis team with a 5-4 win over Vandalia last night! Keep up the great work! Their next home match is this Friday at 4 PM. Stop by to cheer them on.
In boys' golf, the season is off to a fantastic start. At the Hickory Stick Tournament, at Belk Park last week, Myles Bertoletti shot a 73 to tie for second place, while Will Stevens tied for fourth with a 75. Three days later at the MadCO Tournament, the pair were at it again. Will Stevens won the small school division and Myles Bertoletti was second. They shot an even par 72 and a 77, respectively. Again, last night, the two were first and second in a match with Maryville Christian and Bunker Hill.
It is not too late to join the golf team. Anyone interested should email Mr. Milazzo or visit him in room 202. Come help us to win some matches. Your contribution will make a difference.
Today is Picture Day at RHS. We will call groups of students down to the Auditorium for pictures.
