New school year means new shoes.  So what do you do with your old shoes?  Recycle them! Help save our landfills by recycling your old sneakers outside Ms. Hanneken’s room.

Do you like Jeopardy? What about trivia? If so, consider joining Scholastic Bowl. Email or see Ms. Robins to be added to the Google Classroom. We will have our first voluntary practice on Thursday, September 3 after school in Ms. Robins’ room. Hope to see you there!

We have had an increase already this year of students wanting to go to their cars during the school day. Students you are not allowed to go to their cars during the day to get items. Please make sure that you bring in EVERYTHING you need for the day when you come into school. This includes your lunch, Chromebook, books and notebooks, and anything else. 

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:

The lunch menu for today includes

Beefy Nachos, Lettuce & Tomatoes, Salsa, Sour Cream, and  vegetarian Beans

Mon: Pizza Cheese Crunchers, Garden Salad with Ranch or Italian Dressing

Tue: Southern Chicken Crunchers, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Sweet Corn, Warm Biscuit Stick

Wed: Meateaters OR Cheese Pizza, Fresh Baby Carrots with Ranch Dip

Thu: BBQ Chicken on a Bun, Baked Potato, and Steamed Broccoli

Fri: Roxana Horseshoe with Fresh Cherry Tomatoes

Students, at this time, your cellphones should be docked in your classrooms and your backpacks in your lockers.
