We will be conducting the first of our required fire drills during the third period today with the Roxana Fire Department. Teachers, a focus alert was shared in our Monday Memo yesterday for you to review with students prior to the fire drill at the start of the period. We will practice our evacuation procedures then return to class to resume our normal daily operations.
Seniors, the ROX yearbook staff wants your information! It’s time to pack the senior section of the yearbook! A google form was sent to your email last week. You have until October 30th to complete the form. Let Mrs. Schrewe know if you have any questions.
Roxana volleyball fell to Marquette in straight sets, 12–25 and 14–25. Josie Brannon led the Shells with three kills, while Hope Stewart-Sperry added two kills and two blocks. Mia Skinner recorded five assists and five service points. Sophia Powers, Peyton Cincoski and Mazie Magruder each finished with six digs.
Homecoming Class Shirts are in! You can pick yours up from your class sponsor starting AFTER SCHOOL today. They can be picked up before school, after school, or during passing periods. No shirts will be dispersed while classes are in session.

Homecoming Guest Forms are now available in the Main Office. These are due on September 30th at 3:15. These forms require the signature of your guest’s school principal and family, so do not wait until the last day.
The boys' golf team was at Timber Lakes golf course in Staunton last night. The Shells placed third in a six-team field. They were led by Myles Bertoletti with a three under 33, and Will Stevens with a one over 37. The Shells will be back in action tonight at Westlake golf course in Jerseyville.
See You at the Pole will be held this Wednesday at 7:15am in the large gym. All students and staff are welcome to attend!
Best Buddies will hold its first official meeting and sign up on Wednesday September 23 in the student center during advisory time at 1:35-2:40. Please bring your chromebooks as you will be needing them to sign up on their website.
Girls basketball will have a meeting on September 30th at 1:30pm. You will meet in the Small Gym and then go to the locker room.
We have a planned fire drill today in conjunction with the Roxana Fire Department. The first 5-10 minutes of 3rd hour will consist of a Fire Drill Focus Alert and we will begin the drill after the Focus Alert. We will return and resume our normal daily operations at the conclusion of the drill
