Homecoming Week continues today with an important announcement. Due to the weather forecast for Friday, we have decided to change the Homecoming class games to Thursday. That means you will be wearing your class color shirts on Thursday. Generations day will now be on Friday.
We will run the assembly schedule on Thursday and the regular schedule on Friday.
The Homecoming football game has not changed. The football game is at 6:00pm on Friday.
If you want to participate in Thursday’s Homecoming Games, sign up outside your Class Sponsor’s door! You must sign your own name! Each person is only allowed to participate in ONE game so we can get as many actively involved as possible. This year’s games are

Tug of War, sponsored by the Sophomore Class
Rapunzel Relay, sponsored by the Junior Class
Sack Race, sponsored by the Freshman Class
Homecoming tickets are on sale during lunch periods in the Commons today. The cost is $12.00 for the Coronation and Dance. Only cash and checks will be accepted.
If you have not already done so, please pick up your Class shirt from your class sponsor before school, after school, or during passing periods.
Homecoming Guest Forms are due today at 3:15.
There will be Homecoming specials in the Shell Station this week:
On Friday all brownies will be one dollar.
Hot dogs are back and Rice Krispie Treats are a new item.
Students may guess the score of the football game on Friday and the winner gets a free item from the Shell Station and a surprise gift.
Roxana volleyball fell to Waterloo Gibault in two close sets, 20–25 and 22–25. Josie Brannon led the Shells with seven kills, while Mia Skinner recorded 10 assists and six service points. Sophia Powers had 15 digs, Addison Boyer added 12, and Hope Stewart-Sperry finished with three blocks.
Girls basketball will have a meeting today at 1:30pm. You will meet in the Small Gym and then go to the locker room.
Juniors who received the Riverbend East Rotary Scholarship Application - They are due today, Sept. 30th by 3pm to the guidance office. Late applications will not be accepted.
The Art club will NOT meet this week but will be back the following Thursday instead.
Today is an Academic Support/RTI Wednesday. Any student with a D or an F in any class is required to stay for academic support from 1:30-2:40pm today. If you have met expectations and are not required to stay for Academic Support on Wednesdays, you must leave campus or go to a designated area. You may NOT go into the Junior High and visit teachers or students at the Junior High.
