Good morning. Like many others in our area, we are experiencing an internet outage. All internal systems are working; however, the district is currently unable to receive outside email communications. South Primary is unable to take incoming calls due to an AT&T outage. SIU School of Medicine will be providing free dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, fillings, crowns, and extractions. This year, we will be able to host the fun and educational activities in the gymnasium.. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive treatment, and all parents/guardians will be asked to wait in their cars during their child’s treatment. All dental services will be provided by SIU School of Dental Medicine faculty, students, and staff. We successfully hosted this event the last three years in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we plan to utilize the same protocols to make our event possible and successful this year. Like last year, all patients MUST have an appointment to be seen. We will not accept walk-ins as we did in years past.
