The Shells Wrestling team had their first meet last night and Coach Bergman had his coaching debut! The Shells were in a triangular meet with Litchfield and Vandalia. The Shells defeated the Litchfield Panthers 69-30 and lost to a solid Vandalia team. Winning for the Shells were Rives (1-1), Troy Sitze (2-0), Noah Scroggins (1-1), Brodee McCllelan (1-1), Leo Martin (1-1), Ashton Carter (1-1), Kellyn Jones (1-1), Rylee McClellan (2-0), and Cy Courtney (1-1). Winning their JV Exhibition matches were: Victoria Wood, Justin Dean, & Greyson Faison. We have a lot of new wrestlers this year and they all did a great job for their first experience on the mat. Next match is next week against Millstadt.
Big thankful shout out to Lori Podhorn for putting over 50 names, instruments, locker numbers and magnets on the RJHS band posters created by Ophelia Huether. 8th grade posters will be up by the end of the day today. Let Mrs. Turner know if there are errors or missing posters.
