Just a reminder that all yearbook permission forms are due today to Mrs. Jones. There will be a yearbook meeting Monday, September 8th in Mrs. Jones room after school. It will be over at 3:30. This is a very important meeting and we will be making a lot of decisions for the year. If you are unable to attend, you need to email Mrs. Jones and explain why you cannot be present.
If you are still interested in joining Student Council, you can get an information packets and Officer Applications in Mrs. Russell's room. Sign up signature pages must be turned in to Mrs. Russell or Mrs. Jones on later than Thursday, September 11th. Officer applications are due to Mrs. Russell or Mrs. Jones no later than Friday, September 12th. No late applications or signature pages will be accepted.
There will be a short, 20 minute student council meeting in Mrs. Russell's room after school on Thursday, Sept. 11th for students that turned in their Signature Page. There will be information about walking in the parade and concession stands. If you can't attend and you have turned in your signature page by the 11th, check the Student Council Google Classroom page on Sept. 12th for the notes from the meeting. Do not check it now, as the Google Classroom page has not been created since membership is not finalized yet.
Good luck to the cross Country team in their meet at Granite City today at 3:00. Cross Country Athletes need to be dismissed at 2:15 today. Get changed into your uniform, then meet in the Commons by 2:25. The bus for our granite city meat will leave promptly at 2:30.
