Next week is Respect Week. It's a week where RJHS students and staff make the decision to include all students in all things. This includes asking someone who appears to be different from us to be our partner in classes, sit by us at lunch and say Hi to someone you would not usually. Each day will have a dress up theme. We will invite students to write “Boot Chats” – compliments for other students or staff on paper cut out like a boot! Boot Chats will be delivered next Friday during advisory. Be sure to have the name of the recipient on the Boot Chat and any other information that will be helpful for delivery (i.e. room number, locker number, home room teacher’s name, etc.). We will have these to fill out Tuesday at breakfast and lunch hours. Tuesday is Twin Day. Try to find someone you would not usually twin with. Wednesday is wear your wild west outfit. Thursday is black and white day…or go all out and dress like a cow on the farm. Friday is Lets get fired up! Wear RJHS colors. Each day Mrs. Powers’ students will pass out rewards to those who they find dressed up. At the end of the week one student from each grade level will win a larger gift for most participation in the week.
