Happy Birthday today to Austin Caughron, Joey Martin
Next week, Monday through Friday, we will be hosting our 3rd annual Pack the Police Car Food Drive! This is a homeroom competition. Every item brought in counts for your homeroom! You will also receive 5 house points when you bring in a donation. Bring in a donation every day, that's up to 25 house points! A police car will be parked out front to collect donations and our goal is to fill it up with food for families in our community. Several lucky students will get a chance to ride in the police car the day of the donation drop off!
Game club is today after school in Mrs. Jones room.
Shell Shack is today at lunch time. Be sure to visit the Shell Shack on your lunch today and see what’s new!

Next week begins Red Ribbon Week. The theme for 2026 is Make a difference. Be a hero. Stay drug free. Some materials and information will be delivered to your homerooms throughout the week. One thing Student Council wanted you to know early so that you can plan, is that Wednesday of next week will be Dress as Your Favorite Hero Day! Some examples could be your hero could be a real person, like a firefighter, a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, a parent, a grandparent, a police officer, or maybe your hero is a superhero. The definition of hero is different for each individual. We look forward to seeing who you admire!
We will have a Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 10th. If you have a veteran or more than one that you would like to invite, please stop by Mrs. Russell's room on Friday or any day after that to pick up invitations. Check your email. Mrs. Russell has sent you an email about another way you can honor a veteran.
