Announcements 10/27/26

There will be a yearbook meeting this Wednesday, October 28th in Mrs. Jones room.  We will be finished at 3:30.

This week we are hosting our 3rd annual Pack the Police Car Food Drive! This is a homeroom competition. Every item brought in counts for your homeroom! You will also receive 5 house points when you bring in a donation.  Bring in a donation every day, that's up to 25 house points!  A police car will be parked out front to collect donations and our goal is to fill it up with food for families in our community. Several lucky students will get a chance to ride in the police car the day of the donation drop off!

Students you will be receiving a Red Ribbon Button from your homeroom teacher today for you to wear the rest of the week this week.  These attach very well to your lanyard.

Remember to dress like your favorite hero tomorrow to Make a Difference. Some examples of your hero could be a real person, like a firefighter, a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, a parent, a grandparent, a police officer, or maybe your hero is a superhero.  The definition of hero is different for each individual. Be a hero. Stay drug free.

Don't forget to see one of the principals in the morning in the gym or at recess to sign the Red Ribbon Week Banner in the hallway by the gym entrance.

Red Ribbon Coloring Contests are due to Mrs. Russell by the end of the day on Friday.  Make sure your first and last name and your grade level are written on the back.  Teachers, please give out the buttons delivered to you this morning to your homeroom students.  Thank you!

Veterans Day invitations are available from Mrs. Russell.  RSVPs are due by next Monday, November 2nd.  Information about photos that can be put in a slideshow for the assembly can be found in your email from Mrs. Russell.  Photos are due by Monday, November 2nd as well.
