Last Friday Mr. Son taught our 6th-grade students about ratios by having them make pancakes during class. What an incredible way to unlock the understanding of ratios with our students. Great job, Mr. Son!
The only question I have about the lesson is why didn't Mrs. Brannon or I get any pancakes????

Happy Labor Day, all! I am thankful for our amazing staff at RJHS that make this a great place for our students. All staff--teachers, aides, secretaries, librarians, custodians, maintenance, food service, transportation--focusing on serving the young folks that enter our doors daily. And we are off to a terrific start. Thank you, staff! You make me proud to work at Roxana Junior High School.

Good morning, RJHS families!
Tomorrow afternoon we have our big HOUSE REVEAL ASSEMBLY where all new students get sorted into one of our four houses. If you have a returning student who is already in a House, please send them tomorrow in their House shirt. If that shirt no longer fits, any shirt of that color will do.
We have a great year planned for our Houses, so stay on the lookout for an upcoming video we will share in which we discuss the exciting changes for this year and the ways that you can partner with us.
